12/9/81 Boulder |
I,m trying to dl this show on bt.etree. org with one seed on it. If anyone here can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Took a tour of the school Monday, and our guide mentioned twice the Dead played here years ago,so I thought I'd try to hunt the show down. Reviews mentioned it was a VERY loud show. In case this never downloads, anyone have a copy they'd be wiling to trade for? We went to Red Rocks for a little peak as I had never seen the venue before. Fn amazing. I'll post some pix for anyone else who has not witnessed its beauty. Tricky little departure for the impaired after shows-winding little road, a small tunnel, plenty of places to screw up. But man, what a place to have seen them. Thanks in advance for any help on the Boulder show!

Re: 12/9/81 Boulder |
That is one of my favorite show, I was living in Boulder at the time, it was a very cold day and the show was the loudest Dead show I witnessed. WYou also may want to check out the 15th anniv shows at Folsom Field at CU as well. 6-7 & 8-80

Thanks D&D. The reviews mention both the cold and loudness in nearly each review!

Re: 12/9/81 Boulder |
It wasn't one of the best Colorado shows but it was the second time I got backstage to meet the Large fella.
One of my friends from school in Denver sister was Keith and Donna's old baby sitter and she introduced us to Jerry so its always a a night I remember and I f*cked up the final I had the next afternoon, but 26 years later WHO CARES!
The Hail show at Rocks on 6/24 was my lil brothers first show and what a memory that was too. Those were the daze!
